Wednesday crash sends two to hospitals

Two people were taken to hospitals Wednesday evening with injuries following a head-on collision at the roundabout at Camino Del Sol and Continental Road.

 
 The driver of the car was taken to University Medical Center and a passenger in the pickup was taken to Green Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, said L.T. Pratt, Green Valley Fire District community outreach coordinator. The driver of the truck declined to be treated. The hometowns of the people in the truck weren’t available.
