Tucson man suffers head injuries in Madera Canyon fall

A 30-year-old Tucson man was taken to Banner University Medical Center on Thursday after falling out of a tree while hunting in Madera Canyon.

Green Valley Fire District spokesman L.T. Pratt said the man was hunting when he fell about 15 feet. He was taken to the hospital with head injuries, but his condition was unknown.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the call and helped get him to a place where he could be treated and transported.
