Green Valley Fire District firefighters extinguish a trash fire around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at Via Alamos and Rio Yaqui in northern Green Valley. The driver of the commercial garbage truck saw smoke coming from the trash compartment and firefighters put out the fire after he unloaded it at their request. Traffic was diverted to one lane.
