Teenager injured after rolling vehicle in Madera Reserve

A teenage driver was sent to the hospital Friday after rolling the vehicle he was driving off the road in Madera Reserve.

The Green Valley Fire District responded around noon to South Kent Springs Place and East Josephine Canyon Drive, where the mid-sized SUV had gone off the side of the road.

The male driver was transported to Banner University Medical Center – South Campus with minor injuries. It’s unknown if he was wearing his seatbelt. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the cause of the rollover.
