GVFD Firefighters respond to a resident in the 18000 block of South Frontage Road in Sahuarita. The fire caused the owners the lost of two sheds and their contents in a fire Friday morning.
More than a dozen Green Valley Fire District firefighters were summoned to the fire at 10:37 a.m. and it took them about 20 minutes to extinguish it, GVFD Operations Chief Joey Kosiorowski said. The location is along the frontage road north of the Walmart plaza.
The sheds contained paint, propane tanks and other items and were about 20 feet from the house. No one was injured. Kosiorowski put the loss at about $10,000. The cause of the fire is unknown, he said.
