It took three Green Valley Fire District Firefighters about 11 minutes to contain a fire that began in a trash truck in the 1600 block of Commerce Point Place, near Mark’s Body Shop, on Wednesday morning, according to GVFD Operations Chief Joey Kosiorowski. No one was hurt in the blaze, which started around 10:45 a.m. The cause of the fire is unknown.
