Thanks to the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, Green Valley Fire District firefighters will be able to extricate trapped crash victims much faster, said spokesman L.T. Pratt. The GOHS awarded the district a $26,500 grant so it can replace one of its pneumatic Jaws of Life with a battery-operated one, Pratt said. The pneumatic versions take much more time to set up.
