Water Rescue Training

The GVFD will be conducting water rescue training with all its members throughout the month of June.  The Green Valley Rec Center, West Center has provided the swimming pool to perform the life like scenarios to better train and prepare our firefighters for response to such an event.  We ask that folks use pool safety every time they are pool-side.  Never swim alone, watch out for slippery surfaces and never leave children unattended.  Be safe and enjoy the pool.  Although we train, we hope to never have to use what we have learned.
