Four local students graduated Monday from Pima Community College’s Paramedic Program, part of its Public Safety and Emergency Services Institute (PSESI).
Cheryl Horvath, Chief of Mountain Vista Fire District, gave the keynote speech to the 46 graduates. Local graduates for the Green Valley Fire District are Colin Aikman, Thomas Hoetzlein, Cody Naber and Austin Roush.
PCC’s Paramedic Training Program is the first in Arizona to receive accreditation from the nationally recognized Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
