Two people were taken to hospitals Wednesday evening with injuries following a head-on collision at the roundabout at Camino Del Sol and Continental Road.
Pima County Sheriff’s Deputy Tom Holz said a 75-year-old Green Valley man was driving north on Camino Del Sol around 6:15 p.m. when his Subaru collided with a pickup driven by a 38-year-old woman.
The driver of the car was taken to University Medical Center and a passenger in the pickup was taken to Green Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, said L.T. Pratt, Green Valley Fire District community outreach coordinator. The driver of the truck declined to be treated. The hometowns of the people in the truck weren’t available.
